In the spirit of ‘ohana, Live Well by Kāhala Nui is dedicated to serving the unmet needs of seniors in Hawaiʻi. We are a not-for-profit organization that provides high-quality care services, enabling those we serve to live a gracious lifestyle defined by aloha. Conveniently located near downtown Honolulu, our senior day care programs and services promote healthy aging for our Kupuna with a focus on their quality of life and a high level of physical, intellectual, and psychosocial well-being.
Our Services
Every day at Live Well is filled with an array of opportunities for socialization and person-centered programs that are physically and intellectually stimulating in a safe environment. Our custom-designed facility allows members to socialize with peers and avoid the isolation and loneliness that many older adults experience. Our services include recreational activities, dining, medical support, and personal care.
Membership
At Live Well, our Kupuna are not just members, but part of our extended family - who we treat with personalized attention and the dignity and respect they deserve. Caring is at the core of our culture. We welcome new applicants year-round and provide an admissions checklist that is easy to understand and follow.

I’ve been other places and they don’t keep me as busy as they do at Live Well. When I come here five days a week, they spoil me big time. They do it with a smile.
